Our new forum contains several security and backup measures which the old one lacked. That's becuse the phpBB2 forum was hacked and had to be shut down. The database itself was infected and had to quarantined. This directory contains rescue files and simple html pages for each page of the old forum:

I produced them using the simple "SaveAs" function in my web browser, so they are safe to open. Links to external objects in "blogExtendedText" and "blogPackages" still work, and most embeded images still work.

The pages do not link to each other, however, so browsing will be a little inconvenient. You'll have to use the raw directory browsing in your web browser. Each forum is in its own directory and has an index page inside of it, by the same name. Look there, find the thread you want, then go back to the raw dirctory and click on the HTML page with the same name as the thread you want. The thread will show up on your screen, then. each page of a multipage thread will show up individually -- you'll have to access each page through its own HTML file.
If anyone wants to manually fix the inter-page links, I will gladly post it.

Special files:

    dump_phpbb_posts_info.txt
    dump_phpbb_posts_text.txt

These are dumps of the three most important tables form the old database. They contain all text in all posts, titles, and authors. You can also download:

    OldForums.zip

which is all the rescue files, all in a bundle, for your downloading pleasure.
